A pair of publications are joining forces to launch a new awards ceremony and digital industry showcase.
Econsultancy and New Media Age are collaborating to create The Digitals, which combines Econsultancy’s Innovation Awards with the New Media Age Awards into one package to mark excellence and innovation in digital marketing and e-commerce.
The Digitals 2013 will ultimately be celebrated with an awards ceremony and networking event on June 27 next year in London.
Those behind the event say it will host an internationally renowned judging panel and that, in conjunction with Marketing Week, the winners will benefit from significant exposure as it will enjoy a global reach.
Econsultancy chief executive officer Ashley Friedlein said of the company’s link-up with New Media Age: “We’re really excited to be joining forces to create a definitive awards programme for the industry.
“We feel The Digitals will match the growing maturity of the industry.”
